About this book

Have you ever looked outside of yourself for validation? Or questioned your value and worth, hoping to find someone or something to complete you?As a gay man, Scott Possley did just that, until one day he could no longer take it and almost ended his own life. After that experience, he asked one simple question: “What if the thoughts you believe most about yourself aren't actually who you are?”For years, Scott believed the negative voice in his head, the one telling him he wasn't enough, that people wouldn't accept the real him, and that something in his life was missing, leaving him feeling incomplete. It wasn't until he learned to observe his thoughts rather than identify with them that everything began to change, and that’s when he created his roadmap - Possley’s Paradigm. Many of us, from all walks of life, have learned to look outside ourselves for validation and worth. Knowing this, he created Possley’s Paradigm for all of us who've ever felt less than or believed we needed something outside ourselves to feel whole. However you want to show up, Scott invites you to join him on this journey to radical self-acceptance, getting unstuck from negative thoughts, and finding your worth and value from within. _____________________________________________In a world where we are constantly bombarded by our own negative thoughts and self-judgment, it's easy to lose sight of who we truly are. Our minds race, we compare ourselves to others, and we inevitably feel like we fall short. Then we find ourselves stuck in patterns that keep us from experiencing the joy of the present moment. But what if you could break free and discover the freedom beyond your self-limiting thoughts? In More Than My Thoughts, you will learn how to separate yourself from the incessant noise of your mind and discover an inner contentment that's always been within you. Through Possley's Paradigm, a roadmap of nine pillars built around ten universal truths, you'll embark on a journey of self-discovery, shedding layers of attachment and uncovering the peace that comes from living in the here and now. A daily journal is also included to help you put what you've learned into practice. Whether you're struggling with negative thoughts, feelings of not being enough, or patterns that keep you stuck, this book offers a compassionate roadmap to reclaim your life from the grip of these thoughts and find fulfillment in the present, all from within yourself. Step into your true self today and begin living a life rooted in authenticity, peace, and freedom. Read more

About the Author

Scott Possley is the author of More Than My Thoughts and Beyond the Gray. He combines more than 20 years of exploring wellness through his work as a physician assistant with his personal journey and training as a Vedic meditation teacher. Scott teaches that our contentment, fulfillment, and value are inherent, and that they don’t need to be earned or found outside of ourselves.

At the heart of his work is a simple question: What if we are more than the self-limiting thoughts and beliefs we’ve collected along the way, thoughts and beliefs made up of stories, fragments, and half-truths we’ve mistaken for who we are?

Through Possley’s Paradigm, Scott teaches us to become the observer of our thoughts and beliefs rather than identify with them, helping us discover that our validation, worth, and wholeness don’t have to come from outside of ourselves.
